The dinosaurs aren’t extinct at the Benbrook Public Library. At least not this Friday.
As part of the library’s summer reading theme, Unearth a Story, young explorers are invited to step into a prehistoric world during the library’s Dino Party on Friday, June 5, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Designed for children ages 2 to 7, the event will feature dinosaur-themed games, crafts, activities, snacks, and even a chance to dig for dinosaur bones. It’s the first of the library’s Fun Friday summer celebrations and promises plenty of hands-on fun for little paleontologists.
The Dino Party is one of several family-friendly events planned throughout the summer as the library encourages children to keep reading, learning, and using their imaginations while school is out. For children who love dinosaurs, crafts, and a little adventure, this Friday’s party may be the perfect way to start the summer.
Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street. For a full calendar of summer events and activities, visit Benbrook Public Library Events Calendar or call 817-249-6632.
