Dig In: Master Gardeners Bring Spring Know-How to Benbrook.

โ€ข

As gardens across Benbrook start to wake up for the season, a local workshop is offering a timely way to grow a little smarter.

The Benbrook Public Library will host a Master Gardeners session on April 3 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., focused on one of the biggest challenges home gardeners face. Knowing which insects help and which ones harm.

Led by Theresa Posani of the Fort Worth Master Gardeners, the session breaks down the role insects play in the garden, from pollinators that support healthy plants to pests that can quickly undo hard work.

The program is part of an ongoing series designed for gardeners at any level, whether you are planting your first bed or fine-tuning years of experience. Each session offers practical, seasonal guidance you can take straight back to your own yard.

For Benbrook residents looking to get ahead this spring, it is a simple chance to learn, ask questions, and connect with others who enjoy getting their hands in the dirt.
