Cougars Hoops Stumble Against Wildcats.

The Western Hills Cougars came into Tuesday’s game riding high after a dominant 78-27 win over Carter-Riverside, but their momentum hit a roadblock against the Dunbar Wildcats.

The Cougars fought hard but ultimately fell 69-54, marking their second loss to Dunbar this season after a 54-38 defeat on January 3rd.

With six losses in their last seven games, the Cougars now sit at 7-19 overall and 2-7 in district play, currently ranked 6th in the standings.

But there’s no time to dwell—the Cougars return to the court this Friday at 7:30 p.m. for a district home showdown against Diamond Hill-Jarvis. Let’s pack the stands and rally behind the Cougars as they aim to finish the month with a win!
