The Western Hills Cougars boys basketball team left last Friday’s loss behind and came back with a different edge Tuesday night.
Determined to play a full 32 minutes, the Western Hills Cougars stayed locked in from start to finish and pulled out a hard-fought 58 to 54 district win over the Diamond Hill Jarvis Eagles. The game stayed tight throughout, but the Cougars made enough plays down the stretch to seal the victory.
The win moves Western Hills to 6-15 overall, 2-2 in district play, and fourth in the district standings. The Cougars will look to keep the momentum rolling Friday night when they face rival Southwest at 7:30 PM in another key district matchup.
