Benbrook has a new team to cheer for, and they are making history. Cosmos FC, the city’s first nonprofit UPSL soccer club, is calling Benbrook home and inviting the community to celebrate.
On Sunday, September 7, from 1 to 3 p.m., Cosmos FC will host a family-friendly afternoon at the Benbrook Middle-High School football field. The event will feature soccer activities and sports stations with UPSL athletes and the 2011 Cosmos team, along with chances to meet players and coaches.
To keep the energy up, the grill will be fired up with hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks available for purchase.
It’s more than just soccer — it’s a chance for Benbrook families to connect, show their community pride, and support a team that now represents the city on a bigger stage.
