New businesses played a major role in Tarrant County’s job market, generating 47% of all new jobs in 2022, according to a report by Fort Worth-based Sparkyard.

Tarrant County College (TCC) has been awarded a $280,000 Texas Reskilling and Upskilling through Education (TRUE) grant to enhance four healthcare programs offered at its Opportunity Center in Fort Worth.

A new chapter in Fort Worth healthcare began on January 13 as the University of North Texas Health Science Center welcomed its inaugural class of 30 nursing students. This marks the launch of HSC’s first on-campus nursing program, designed to combat Texas’ critical nursing shortage.
