Benbrook stargazers, tonight’s sky has a treat in store. Just after sunset on May 29, 2025, look west and you might catch the universe flashing a grin.
A slender crescent Moon will appear just beneath Castor and Pollux, the twin stars of Gemini, creating a natural smiley face in the early evening sky. It’s one of those rare, picture-perfect alignments that makes you pause and appreciate the cosmos.
Your best chance to see it is about 45 minutes after sunset. It’ll sink below the horizon by midnight, so don’t wait too long.
The view will be visible across the Northern Hemisphere, but if you’re in Benbrook, just step outside, tilt your head back, and enjoy a little night sky magic.
