The Fort Worth Star-Telegram has revealed its All-Area Super Team, and the Bobcats are making waves! Three standout seniors from Fort Worth Benbrook High School earned well-deserved recognition for their stellar performances on the field this season.
Top Honors for Christian Gleason
Christian Gleason was named to the First Team Defense, a testament to his dominance this season. The senior racked up impressive stats:
- 12 sacks
- 56 tackles
- 15 tackles for loss
- 1 forced fumble
- 4 blocked field goals
Gleason’s efforts were instrumental in leading the Bobcats to a historic year, including Fort Worth ISD’s first area-round playoff win in 24 years.
Honorable Mentions
Two other Bobcat stars earned Honorable Mention:
- Brady Gordon, Senior RB
- Kade Cross, Senior WR
Their contributions helped cement the Bobcats’ place as a force to be reckoned with in the local high school football scene.
