The Benbrook Bobcats fought hard but fell short in a nail-biting 37-35 loss to the Southwest Raiders last Friday night.
The defeat snapped the Bobcats’ three-game winning streak, bringing their season record to 14-12 and 4-2 in district play, where they currently hold third place.
Tonight, the Bobcats will play the Western Hills Cougars at 8 p.m. in what promises to be a fierce cross-town rivalry at Billingsley Field House. The Bobcats dominated their last matchup with the Cougars in December, cruising to a 67-50 victory.
