Benbrook Middle-High School Orchestra had plenty to celebrate following Saturday’s All-Region Orchestra competition, with 13 students earning spots and another named first alternate.
Violinists Jack Gentry and Aiden Yun were selected, along with violists Daniel Ramirez Vega, Miguel Rosales Castaneda, Jeffery Lane and Mason Viola.
The cello section added Magnolia Peterson, Victor Espino, Sofia Ainsworth, and Braden King, with Aaron Prieto named first alternate. Orville Dugan earned a spot on bass.
Congratulations to the Bobcat musicians and orchestra directors Dr. Barnaby and Ms. Castillo-Sanchez on a strong showing at All-Region.
