With fall sports and extracurricular activities getting into full swing, Benbrook Middle-High School is reminding students and families of a few expectations before heading to the next game, performance, or competition.
The biggest one is simple: FWISD students must wear their student ID to attend district events at any school or central site. That is a districtwide policy.
Students in grades 6 through 8 may attend events on campus or at central sites, but an adult must accompany them. High school students in grades 9 through 12 may attend without an adult. Students who are removed for inappropriate behavior may also face school consequences, including being prohibited from future events.
And the reminder isn’t just for students.
Whether it’s football, volleyball, theatre, band, choir, orchestra, Whiz Quiz, or UIL competition, BMHS is asking everyone in the stands to remember why we’re there: to support our kids.
Cheer loudly. Celebrate the wins. Encourage them through the losses. Support the coaches, sponsors, and students representing our community.
As BMHS put it, “The key? Being there.”
Benbrook has a reputation for showing up for its kids. Let’s keep showing up in ways that make them proud.
