Applause is still echoing through the auditorium at Benbrook Middle-High School after the theatre department’s recent production of Catch Me If You Can drew praise for its performances, music, and student talent.
School leaders highlighted the work of director Kyle Pressley and the cast and crew, calling the spring musical an unforgettable night of theatre that showcased the depth of talent across the campus.
Now the spotlight shifts to middle school performers.
The middle school theatre program is preparing to take the main stage May 6-8 with its production of Everything You Wanted To Know About Your Teachers But Were Too Afraid To Ask.
Performances are scheduled for 6 p.m. on May 6 and 7, with two shows on May 8 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
As the school year heads toward the finish line, the back-to-back productions are giving Benbrook audiences another reminder that the arts remain a major part of student life on campus.
