Benbrook residents have a reason to celebrate: one of their own, Francesca Weisiger, was recently honored during Fort Worth ISD’s first-ever Visual and Performing Arts Signing Day.
Held on May 9 at I.M. Terrell Academy, the event recognized 40 graduating seniors from across the district who have committed to continuing their education in the arts at colleges and universities across the country. Together, these students have earned over $6 million in scholarships.
Francesca’s accomplishment highlights the power of passion and persistence. For students like her, it’s about more than just talent. It’s about showing up, working hard, and believing in your future.
