Benbrook Rallies Around Local Teen Following Tragic Accident.

โ€ข

Benbrook residents may have noticed red ribbons adorning trees around town, especially near Westpark Elementary.

These heartfelt displays are a visible sign of support for 14-year-old Lilly Taylor, a former Westpark student and cherished member of the Skyline Ranch neighborhood, who is currently in the ICU after a devastating bicycle accident over the weekend.

Lilly, now a student at Great Hearts School, sustained serious brain injuries in the crash. As her family navigates this incredibly difficult time, the Benbrook community has stepped in to offer love and support in powerful ways.

A meal train for the Taylor family was quickly filled, but financial support is still welcome. Those looking to help can send gift cards, cash, or contributions via Venmo to Lillyโ€™s mother, Jami Taylor (@jami-taylor-5). Residents are also encouraged to tie red ribbons or red plastic tablecloths around trees as a sign of solidarity.

In addition, $20 yard signs are available to honor Lilly, with half the proceeds going directly to the Taylor family. For more information or to order a sign, reach out to Blair Moore at 903-288-7800 or Venmo @BlairMoore94.

Benbrook continues to pray and show compassion for Lilly and her loved ones during this incredibly challenging time.
