It was another fun night on the greens at the Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course as local players teed off for last week’s weekly scramble. The evening featured friendly competition, with top honors going to the chipping winner and his “pawdner,” followed by the first, second, and third-place scramble teams.
The night also came with bittersweet goodbyes to Paula and Bob, beloved members of the Wednesday scramble crew who are moving on after years of camaraderie and countless rounds. Their laughter and sportsmanship will be missed by many.
Golfers still have two scrambles left this season, including the highly anticipated Glow in the Dark Scramble on October 29. Carts are filling up fast, so sign up early at the Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course Facebook page.
