Benbrook residents, if you’ve been wondering about the availability of the track at Benbrook Middle-High School, it’s currently under construction and will remain closed until mid-July.
The project focuses on renovating the football field and the track to improve the facilities.
While the track is off-limits for now, the surrounding area is still open to the public when practice isn’t taking place. If you’re passing by, you might spot new turf rolls being delivered as work progresses.
Dutch Branch Park and Athletic Complex offers a great option for those looking for an alternative walking or running path. Located at 1899 Winscott Rd, it’s just a short drive from the school and provides plenty of space for outdoor activities.
