The Benbrook Public Library is stepping in to help local families during National Diaper Need Awareness Week with a community-wide Diaper Exchange.
From Monday, September 15, through Sunday, September 21, residents can donate, exchange, or pick up diapers as needed.
The effort highlights a growing issue many parents face. Diapers are essential for children’s health and comfort, yet they remain one of the most expensive recurring needs for families. By creating a space where neighbors can share resources, the library is making it easier for parents to bridge the gap without stigma.
The Diaper Exchange is open to everyone and will run all week at the library, located at 1065 Mercedes Street in Benbrook.
