For Benbrook residents looking for a slower pace and a creative night out, the Benbrook Public Library is bringing a little beach-inspired fun indoors next month.
The library will host an adults-only “Craft Your Calm” event on Monday, June 1, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., where participants will paint and decorate starfish to use as home décor or personal keepsakes.
Organizers say all materials will be provided, making it an easy evening for anyone wanting to relax, get creative, and spend time with neighbors without needing to bring supplies.
The event is open to ages 18 and older, and separate registration is required for each attendee.
The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street in Benbrook.
