Storms swept through Benbrook in this evening, rolling in from the southwest and heading northeast. While it brought some drama, it didn’t overstay its welcome.
Residents near Benbrook Lake, especially around Tiger Trail, saw a bit of pea-sized hail, but the storm moved on quickly and caused little to no damage. Most in Benbrook proper didn’t see much hail at all. In fact, some neighborhoods barely got rain. It was just a round of thunder and lightning to remind us it’s storm season.
This time it was mild, but more weather could be on the way. Keep an eye on the forecast, Benbrook. Storm season isn’t done yet.
