For families looking for an easy dinner plan, Monday night offers a simple way to give back.
Benbrook Elementary is partnering with Texas Roadhouse on SW Loop 820 for a one-night fundraiser on April 13 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Whether dining in or ordering to go, 10 percent of each purchase will be donated back to the school.
The idea is straightforward. Skip the cooking, gather with friends or family, and let a regular meal help support local students and teachers. Guests just need to show the event flyer or let their server know they are there for Benbrook Elementary.
There is also a little friendly competition built in. The class with the most participation will earn a bread party, giving students another reason to show up and represent.
Sometimes support looks as simple as showing up, sharing a meal, and being part of something local. Monday night is one of those chances.
