Benbrook Book Club Pick Connects Two Lives Through Tragedy.

A single scarf, two women, and tragedies separated by decades are at the center of the Benbrook Public Library’s September book club selection.

The library’s Bookmarked Book Club will meet Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 11:15 a.m. to discuss Susan Meissner’s A Fall of Marigolds, a historical novel told across two timelines.

The story moves between New York City in 1911, following the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, and September 2001. Through stories of love, loss, and connection, an elegant scarf becomes the thread linking two women touched by tragedy.

The discussion will be held at Benbrook Public Library, 1065 Mercedes St.
