Art, Pajamas, and a Stage Full of First Graders in Benbrook.

At Benbrook Elementary School, Monday night is shaping up to feel a little different in the best way.

Families will gather for a schoolwide Art Show paired with a first-grade pajama party program, an evening that blends creativity, imagination, and a bit of fun. It is the kind of event where hallways turn into galleries and the cafeteria becomes a stage.

The Art Show runs from 5:30 to 6:30 pm inside the Benbrook Elementary School Cafetorium, giving families time to walk through student work and see what has been taking shape in classrooms. In the middle of it all, first graders will take the spotlight with a 6:00 pm performance, bringing their program to life for friends and family.

The pajama theme adds a relaxed, playful feel, especially for younger students who will be front and center. For parents, it is a chance to slow down, take it all in, and see their child’s world through drawings, color, and performance.

The event takes place on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Benbrook Elementary School.

For many families, it will not just be another school night. It will be one of those moments that sticks, where art is on the walls, kids are on stage, and the community shows up to cheer them on.
