Expect Overnight Delays on I-20 for Utility Line Work.

Benbrook and Fort Worth drivers, take note. If you’re planning to travel overnight along I-20, expect some slowdowns.

Oncor crews will be working on utility lines starting at 11 p.m. Thursday, July 10, through 5 a.m. Friday, July 11, weather permitting. The work will take place just east of the I-20/I-30 split in west Fort Worth.

Traffic in both directions will be stopped in short intervals, up to 15 minutes at a time, as part of a rolling closure. The delays are necessary for safe completion of the overnight work.

If possible, plan to take an alternative route or allow for extra travel time.
