On an ordinary day in Benbrook, something remarkable happened in a Chick-fil-A parking lot.
Nearly 30 locals rolled up their sleeves, climbed aboard a Carter BloodCare mobile unit, and made a life-saving difference.
In total, those donations are expected to impact 63 lives. That’s 63 families with hope, 63 hospital rooms with a little more light, all thanks to a small but mighty group of residents who showed up without fanfare, just heart.
The event, hosted by Benbrook Chick-fil-A, wasn’t flashy, but the results were powerful. It’s proof that when a community rallies around a need, real change happens.
Want to see how it all went down? You can check out the photos and relive the day by visiting the Chick-fil-A Benbrook Facebook page. It’s a good reminder that sometimes, being a hero is as simple as showing up.
