Despite some serious spring storms, the renovation of the track and field at Benbrook Middle-High School is charging ahead.
The groundwork is done—excavation, grading, drainage, and the base layer are officially in the rearview mirror.
Now, crews are moving into the turf phase. That means shock pads are being installed, turf is being rolled out and cut, and infill is going down before everything gets securely locked in place.
Progress is rolling right along, and another video update is expected soon to give residents a closer look at the track construction.
