Benbrook, get ready to spice up your spring!
The final preliminary round of a sizzling Crawfish Boil-Off series is rapidly approaching on May 18th at 3 PM. This flavorful competition has been unfolding over several dates (previously March and April), building anticipation for the grand finale in June.
Aspiring crawfish champions have been showcasing their most delectable boils, treating attendees to mouthwatering crustaceans and lively music. The upcoming May 18th event marks the last chance for competitors to secure a coveted spot in the ultimate showdown, where a $4,000 grand prize awaits. The top four from March and the top three from both April and May will advance to the final cook-off.
Limited spots remain for those wanting to compete. Participants receive a $50 entry fee for crawfish, propane, a trash can, and serving boats. Competitors are encouraged to bring their own setups and signature fixings for their crawfish creations, which must be cooked on-site. Winners are decided by popular vote, so rallying friends and family is highly recommended.
For those who simply want to indulge in the flavorful offerings, tasting tickets are available for purchase, allowing attendees to sample and vote for their favorite boils. The preliminary events are free to attend and open to all ages.
Mark your calendars, Benbrook, for a day of delicious competition and community spirit as the Crawfish Boil-Off series reaches its exciting penultimate stage. The final preliminary round on May 18th promises to be a feast for the senses!
