Heads Up, Benbrook: Weekend I-20 Closure Could Slow You Down.

Benbrook drivers, take note—westbound I-20 is scheduled to shut down for overnight construction this weekend, and you’ll want to plan ahead.

Starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 11, through 6 a.m. Saturday, April 12 (weather permitting), crews will close westbound I-20 from the I-20/I-30 split to Markum Ranch Road for important bridge work.

Drivers will be rerouted via a marked detour using I-30 and the I-820 West Loop. Expect delays and consider alternate routes to keep your travel smooth and stress-free.
