The Benbrook Middle-High School Bobcat Band brought home several honors Saturday after an impressive showing at the Golden Triangle Marching Band Contest in Denton.
Competing against larger programs, including some 5A schools, the Bobcats earned Best in Class, straight 1s from the judges, and a spot in the finals, finishing eighth overall.
BMHS officials noted that Benbrook had one of the smallest bands in the competition but still managed to outperform several larger groups.
Next up, the Bobcat Band heads to Springtown on Saturday, October 17, for the Region 30 UIL Marching Contest.
Congratulations to the Bobcat musicians and directors on a strong performance, and best of luck at UIL!
