Vehicle Fire Closes Two Lanes of I-20 Near Winscott Road.

Benbrook firefighters responded to a reported vehicle fire on westbound I-20 near the Winscott Road overpass early Monday morning, October 12.

According to dispatch information reported by CrimeRadar.app, multiple fire engines responded around 3:05 a.m. near the 8400 block of I-20.

Firefighters temporarily blocked the two westbound lanes while working the scene.

Officials have not confirmed the cause of the fire, whether anyone was injured, or the extent of the damage.
