A beautiful day on the golf course brought Benbrook firefighters, local businesses, and community supporters together for the 2nd Annual Benbrook Professional Firefighters Golf Tournament on Sept. 23.
Organized by Benbrook IAFF Local 5020, the tournament drew a strong turnout of golfers and sponsors for a day of friendly competition and community fellowship.
The Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce and other local supporters also joined the festivities, with businesses sponsoring the tournament and volunteers helping throughout the day.
Two weeks later, Local 5020 shared its appreciation for everyone who participated, calling the tournament a success and expressing excitement about returning next year.
The Benbrook Fire Department also congratulated the firefighters on another successful event and thanked the sponsors, golfers, and community members who helped make it happen.
