Recent rain has halted Saturday baseball and softball in Benbrook.
The Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association has canceled all games scheduled in Benbrook for Saturday, Oct. 3, with additional inclement weather also expected. Under BYBSA’s rainout policy, the canceled games will not be rescheduled.
BYBSA guarantees teams eight games each season and schedules additional games to allow for possible weather cancellations. Rainouts are only made up when a cancellation would leave a team with fewer than eight games.
The association acknowledged the disappointment for players and families and thanked everyone for their patience.
