A search for a missing 71-year-old Benbrook woman ended with the news everyone was hoping to hear. She was found safe Monday night.
Guadalupe went for a walk near her home across from Benbrook Middle-High School and got lost while trying to make her way back. According to an update shared by the family, she eventually reached a gas station and asked for help.
She was found around 10:05 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, uninjured and in good health.
Her family thanked neighbors for sharing the original missing-person post, keeping an eye out and praying for her safe return.
After several anxious hours, Guadalupe made it home safely. For the family and the Benbrook neighbors who spent the evening looking out for her, that was the update everyone wanted.
