Stone’s Throw Farm Grows More Than Food.

Just south of Benbrook, Stone’s Throw Farm Co. grows vegetables, supports local producers, and creates something especially meaningful along the way.

The farm provides job opportunities for individuals with special needs, giving them a place to work, learn, and be part of the farm’s day-to-day life.

At the same time, Stone’s Throw connects shoppers with food and products from area farmers, ranchers, and producers through its market and farm stands.

A recent visit offered a closer look at that mission in action and the people behind it.

And soon, some of the farm is coming a little closer to town. Stone’s Throw Farm Co. will stop at Fred’s in Crowley next week, giving folks another chance to see what they have been growing and building.
