BENBROOK, TX – Two powerhouse athletes from Western Hills High School made their mark at the Powerlifting State Championship in Edinburg, Texas, last Thursday—thanks to the support of generous donors and the Cougar Pride Alliance!
After dominating in the Squat and Bench events, both lifters secured impressive podium finishes:
Kateline: 1st in Squat (285 lbs), 1st in Bench (135 lbs) – 2nd overall in the 148 division
Abby: 4th in Squat (340 lbs), 4th in Bench (145 lbs) – 3rd overall in the 242+ division
A huge shoutout to Coach Bill Rock for his dedication to the powerlifting program and helping these athletes reach new heights.
