Fred’s Benefit Day Supports Stone’s Throw Farm.

A meal at Fred’s Texas Cafe next Wednesday can support meaningful work happening right here in the Fort Worth area.

On Wednesday, Sept. 23, all three Fred’s locations will host an all-day benefit for Stone’s Throw Farm Co., a local organization providing hands-on work opportunities through its farm and internship program.

The day gets even more hands-on at Fred’s Crowley from 1 to 5 p.m. Stone’s Throw interns will work alongside the Fred’s crew while the farm brings its Farm Stand to Crowley for the first time.

Fred’s recently spent time at the farm getting to know the Stone’s Throw team and shadowing interns at work. Now the restaurant is inviting the community to meet them, too.

So whether you stop by for lunch, dinner, or a visit to the Farm Stand, Wednesday offers an easy way to support local while getting to know the people behind the work.
