Bobcats Football Brings Real-Time Stats to Friday Nights.

Keeping up with Benbrook Bobcats football now goes beyond watching the scoreboard.

This September, the Bobcats became one of eight high school football programs using StatIQ, a FERPA-compliant platform operated by the Legends Program that captures and publishes verified game statistics in real time.

For Bobcat fans, that means following more of what is happening on the field as it happens. A parent watching from another state, a recruiter tracking a player from across the country, or a friend who could not make Friday night’s game can see updated stats without waiting until later.

That quicker access is also part of a bigger problem StatIQ is trying to solve. The company says high school sports statistics can sometimes be delayed or inaccurate, leaving coaches, players and recruiters working with information that may not tell the full story. StatIQ is designed to get verified numbers published within seconds.

Benbrook joins Alvord, Brock, Era, Godley, Joshua, Keene and Stephenville as the first eight programs actively using the platform, with more schools expected to follow.

So while the Bobcats are putting numbers on the field this fall, those numbers should be a little easier to follow wherever you happen to be.
