Helen Marie (Geick) Blake, a longtime Benbrook resident whose life centered on family, faith, and the things she loved, died peacefully Aug. 18, 2026. She was 92.
Helen was a mother of five, grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of eight. Family remained her greatest joy throughout a life also filled with stained glass, gardening, cross-stitching, cooking, reading, church activities, and cruises.
Her family remembers a woman who embraced life with curiosity and leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and memories shared across generations.
The family also expressed gratitude to caregivers at The Tradition-Clearfork Assisted Living and Memory Care, Americare, and St. Gabriel’s hospice staff for the compassionate care provided during Helen’s final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, Sept. 3, at noon in the Elizabeth Cramer Chapel at Arborlawn United Methodist Church, 5001 Briarhaven Road in Fort Worth.
