Benbrook residents experienced a bit of chaos Monday afternoon when a 2000s model gray Toyota Camry collided with a traffic light at the corner of 2871 and Jerry Dunn Parkway, near Restore Church.
The crash occurred during high-traffic hours, just as many parents picked up students from Westpark Elementary, Rolling Hills Elementary, and Benbrook Middle-High School.
The car was completely totaled, but fortunately, no fatalities were reported. The driver, who has yet to be identified, sustained only minor injuries. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
