Benbrook Middle-High School Earns an A Rating.

There is plenty to celebrate in Bobcat country this Friday.

Benbrook Middle-High School has officially earned an A rating under the Texas Education Agency’s accountability system, marking a major academic achievement for students, teachers, staff, and campus leadership.

An A represents the state’s highest performance category, with an overall accountability score of 90 or higher. Texas evaluates campuses across three major areas: student achievement, school progress, and closing achievement gaps among student groups.

The accomplishment comes at a significant time for Fort Worth ISD and gives the Benbrook community something worth celebrating as the new school year gets underway.

Behind the letter grade are years of classroom work, student growth, and a campus-wide effort led by Principal Dr. Jason Oliver and the BMHS staff. Oliver currently serves as principal of the sixth through 12th-grade campus.

The Benbrook community has reacted with overwhelming celebration, with parents praising teachers, administrators, and students for the work behind the rating.

For a school year that has barely begun, BMHS already has its first big reason to celebrate that it’ll not only be a lovely day, but a lovely year ahead. Way to go, Bobcats!

You can find detailed campus accountability information through the Texas Education Agency’s TXschools.gov portal.
