YMCA Back-to-School Event Brings Community Together for Local Students.

The Benbrook Community Center YMCA welcomed families, volunteers, and community partners together this past weekend for a Back-to-School event focused on helping students start the new school year with confidence.

The morning featured a free Mini Soccer Clinic led by the Benbrook Middle-High School Lady Bobcat Soccer Community Leaders, as well as a Volleyball Skills Clinic hosted by YMCA volunteer coaches. Kona Ice was also on hand, giving families a cool treat while they enjoyed the activities.

Thanks to the support of local vendors, community partners, and volunteers, students and families received school supplies, helpful resources, and plenty of encouragement ahead of the first day of class.

The YMCA thanked everyone who attended and contributed, noting that the community’s generosity helped make the event a success and gave local students a strong start to the school year.
