The first day of school is getting closer, and BASIS Benbrook is giving families a chance to get a head start before students return to the classroom.
The school’s Meet the Teacher event will be held Wednesday, August 5, from noon to 5 p.m. Families can stop by at any time during the come-and-go event to meet teachers and staff, pick up schedules, receive locker or cubby assignments, and collect pre-ordered school supplies and CJ’s.
Information stations will also be available with details about lunches, clubs, sports, Latebird, student IDs for grades 4 through 9, Booster programs, and other resources to help families prepare for the new school year.
Meet the Teacher offers students and parents an opportunity to become familiar with campus, ask questions, and start the year with confidence before classes begin.
