Think you’ve got what it takes to be a spelling champion?
The Benbrook Public Library is inviting local wordsmiths to its Adult Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 15, at 1 PM—a fun and competitive event where teams can put their spelling skills to the test!
Unlike traditional spelling bees, this one is team-based, meaning you don’t have to go it alone. Gather a group of two to six players, rack up points, and compete for prizes!
The top two teams will advance to a regional spelling bee against other area library champions later this spring.
Don’t have a team? No problem! Individuals can still sign up and be placed with others. Only one team member needs to register. Just call the library or stop by the circulation desk to secure your spot.
Prefer to watch the competition unfold? Spectators are welcome to come cheer on the spellers!
