Looking for a different way to spend a summer morning or evening? Yellowsnake Horses Brazos River Ranch is inviting riders to slow down and take in the beauty of the Brazos River from the saddle.
The family-owned ranch has welcomed guests to its historic property for generations, offering guided horseback rides through shaded trails and along a sandy river beach. The land has been in the same family for more than 130 years.
To help beat the summer heat, rides are now scheduled in the mornings around 9 a.m. and again in the evenings around 6 or 7 p.m. Each ride lasts about an hour and a half and features gentle horses suitable for a relaxed outing.
