A Fort Worth partnership is proving that meaningful employment can change lives.
NBC 5 recently highlighted the work of Fred’s Texas Cafe and Stone’s Throw Farm Co., a nonprofit dedicated to creating job opportunities for adults with learning differences after they age out of school programs.
The story follows Jackson Stone, whose job offers far more than a paycheck. It provides purpose, confidence, and a place where his abilities are valued.
Stone’s Throw Farm Co. shared its excitement after Jackson was featured in the television segment, saying he was nervous before the interview but proud to share his story. The organization also thanked Fred’s Texas Cafe for its continued partnership and support in creating opportunities for adults who often face barriers to employment.
For many North Texas families, the story is a reminder that inclusion begins with opportunity, and that a supportive workplace can make a lasting difference.
