Benbrook Middle-High Administrator Shares Emotional Farewell With Staff.

A farewell email from longtime Benbrook Middle-High School administrator Linda Grubbs is drawing attention after being shared publicly by the FWISD Watchdog Facebook page.

In the message to staff, Grubbs reflected on her 12 years at the school, calling her departure “the hardest decision I’ve ever made.” She thanked teachers and staff for their dedication, writing that working alongside them had been “one of the greatest honors of my life.”

Grubbs also shared that she is leaving not because she stopped caring, but because “it was time for a new path,” adding that she would always believe in the work of the school’s educators and continue cheering them on.

Alongside the email, FWISD Watchdog claimed it has learned that some campus administrators sought guidance from district leadership on professional growth and advancement but did not receive responses. The page also expressed concerns about leadership transparency and the number of administrators and teachers leaving the district.

Grubbs’ heartfelt farewell reflects the lasting relationships she built during more than a decade at Benbrook Middle-High School and the deep respect she earned along the way. She has been an invaluable leader and will be greatly missed by the Benbrook community.
