If you already know how to play Mahjong and are looking for a regular game, a growing Benbrook group has a seat waiting for you.
Free play is held every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9 a.m. at Benbrook City Hall for adults 50 and older. Games continue until players are ready to call it a day, and additional play days may be added as interest grows.
Organizers are also exploring an evening Mahjong group for adults 18 and older, with Tacos & Avocados being considered as a possible meeting place.
No equipment? No problem. The group has enough tiles and mats for about five tables.
Anyone interested in joining or helping launch the evening group is encouraged to reach out. Suggestions for a meeting location are also welcome.
