What happens when Super Smash Bros. collides with The Hunger Games? Benbrook teens are about to find out.
The Benbrook Public Library is hosting Super Smash Hunger Games on Wednesday, July 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. for ages 13 and older. Instead of entering the arena as Tributes, participants will take on the role of Capitol citizens, placing bets on Nintendo characters as they battle it out in Super Smash Bros.
The event adds a creative twist to the competition by sorting characters into districts, allowing players’ predictions to shape the arena, available items, and the overall experience. Rewards will be awarded to those whose chosen champion comes out on top.
Capitol-inspired costumes are encouraged, and themed refreshments will be provided.
