Summer may still be in full swing, but Benbrook Middle-High School is already looking ahead to the start of the 2026-27 school year.
In a June 19 social media post, school officials highlighted several important dates for students and families to mark on their calendars before classes begin in August.
Incoming sixth graders are invited to attend 6th Grade Camp from 9 a.m. to noon on July 29 in the middle school gym. The event is designed to help students become familiar with their new campus before the school year starts.
On Aug. 3, seniors can purchase parking spots from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Students must pay using the on-campus QR code, and proof of insurance is required. Parking availability is limited.
That same evening, incoming freshmen and their families can attend 9th Grade Orientation at 6 p.m. in the BMHS Auditorium.
The first day of school is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 10. Students in grades 6 through 12 will attend classes from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
