A day built around smiles, connection, and community is returning to Benbrook later this month, and local organizers are recognizing one of the partners helping make it happen.
Comfort Keepers recently highlighted Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View as a community partner for the upcoming National Day of Joy Carnival.
Based in Fort Worth, Encompass Health specializes in intensive inpatient rehabilitation, helping patients recover from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, and major orthopedic surgeries.
Through around-the-clock nursing care and daily physical, occupational, and speech therapy, the hospital’s team works to help patients regain strength, independence, and confidence as they transition back to everyday life.
The partnership reflects the spirit behind the National Day of Joy, a celebration focused on encouraging connection, well-being, and support throughout the community.
Families are invited to attend the FREE National Day of Joy Carnival on Wednesday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Benbrook Community Center YMCA, 1899 Winscott Road. The event will feature food, games, giveaways, entertainment, community resources, and activities for all ages.
