Summer break is in full swing, and local kids are getting a chance to trade screen time for sprinkles, chocolate, and creativity.
The Cake Ball-erina recently celebrated a successful start to its summer classes, and there is still time for young bakers to join upcoming sessions. The hands-on classes give kids an opportunity to learn decorating skills while creating sweet treats they can proudly take home.
A new class has also been added to the summer lineup. The “Dip & Decorate: Cake Pop Class” will be held on Monday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to noon and is open to children ages 6 and older.
During the class, participants will learn how to dip and decorate six cake pops and one Rice Krispies treat. Parents can enjoy a couple of hours of free time while their young bakers create, decorate, and have fun in a supervised setting.
For families looking for a creative summer activity with a little extra sweetness, this might be the perfect recipe. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
